Financial Literacy Programs for Women
For those who need to budget their money wisely to ensure they have enough money to cover expenses, financial literacy is of the utmost importance. Unfortunately, financial literacy is not something actively promoted by the public education system.
Thankfully, organizations like ours are here to fill in the void. In our Money Smart training module, we go over the fundamentals of personal finance, consumer loans, and more. Over the course of our training module, we will explore:
- Banking services
- Introduction to personal credit
- How to maintain a checking account
- Benefits of saving money
- Budget preparation
- Consumer rights and responsibilities
- Importance of credit history
- Pros and cons of credit cards
- Pros and cons of personal loans
- Home loans
- And more
Whether you are managing your finances for the first time or are more than familiar with a few of the topics covered, you'll be sure to benefit from some aspects of our Money Smart module. Alternatively, you can take advantage of any number of additional services and programs available through our center.
